A1CNow® SELFCHECK is a simple way to check on your A1C level at home, between doctor visits. Along with your regular doctor visits and routine blood glucose monitoring, the A1CNow® SELFCHECK lets you know where your glucose stands, so you can get to where you need to be easier. Bayer's A1CNow® SELFCHECK, when used in conjunction with Bayer's CONTOUR® or BREEZE®2 blood glucose meters, may help you achieve better control in managing their diabetes, and may also reduce long-term complications associated with diabetes.

A1C measures your average blood glucose level over the past 2-3 months. If you have diabetes, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends that your A1C should be under 7%. Just one point reduction in your A1C can reduce the risk of very serious complications by up to 40%. You should remember that your A1C level is your overall measurement. Don't use it for short-term day to day blood glucose monitoring.
